In my home, every January after the holiday decorations come down, the rooms look a little flat and barren. This year, I’m injecting a fresh vibe with a judicious addition of accents here and there in Pantone’s Color of the Year—Greenery.
It’s nature’s neutral, a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew.
Symbolic of new beginnings, Greenery is the ideal hue to revitalize tired rooms.
Splash a coat of lively green color on your walls to wake up an entire room in an afternoon. Choose one hue for walls, a pale green for trim, and another deep color for a piece or two of painted accent furniture.
Get your greens with an all-out palette or mix in a few new pieces. The hue pairs beautifully with pinks, blues, corals, and yellows and shines in busy patterns or graphic stripes.
Are you sold? If so, check out some of these products in gorgeous greens that caught our eyes.
