Fall is my favorite time of year. The air becomes crisp and invigorating, the trees dazzle with their colorful glory, and I get to wear the hugest, most comfortable sweaters, and no one judges.

But perhaps, most of all, I love the options for fall decorating! Halloween is one my favorite holidays (if not THE favorite), and the jewel tones of fall make for wonderful tableaux.

Here is a round-up of all things wonderful and autumnal that you may have missed from previous posts.

If you’re in the neighborhood, consider a trip to a local arboretum. They’re my happy place all year long, but in the fall, they decorate with fall foliage and produce. If nothing else, it’s a great place to get ideas about decorating your own living space and gardens.

Pumpkin picking in the fields on a perfect fall day.

You still have a month or so of Apple Picking! So grab a bushel and pick up a pumpkin or two while you’re at it.

A little squeamish about the insides of pumpkins? There’s no need to carve with these neat ideas!

Decorate your mantel in everything Halloween! Scary can be elegant.

Enjoy the perfect tailgating weather with friends, football and lots and lots of food.

Even if you’re not stuffing yourself silly with tailgating food or Halloween candy (because apparently some people DON’T do that…), there’s plenty of enjoyment to be had when the air gets chilly. Enjoy yourselves.

We will.
